Will your games run on my handheld? Our officially supported requirements are as follows:
In fact, most (but not all) games still run flawlessly on Palm OS 4.x devices with 160x160 screens, even on grayscale models. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility with these devices, so please get the trial version to test if it works on your handheld. Are these games compatible with Palm Treo 700p? All our games should be compatible with Treo 700p; the only problem is that you have to download and install from ZIP files, not EXE (this is because of firmware bug in treo 700p). The installation instruction is the same for all games, and rather simple:
How do I install all games quickly?
You offer ZIP, EXE and PRC as download options. What's the difference?
When installing your PRC file, I get "Not enough memory" message PRC files available from our Download section are built with Palm Installer which needs additional memory to decompress data during the installation. When installing game packs (such as Hot Games Pack) the required extra amount is significant, and installation may fail on some low-memory devices. In this case, install game(s) from a ZIP file. How do I apply the registration code?
How do I disable game sound? On your handheld, run "Prefs" application. Go to "General" category and turn "Game sound" OFF. Some games also have built-in setting to mute sound (see the Preferences menu item in the game). How do I place ships in SeaWar game? Gaming field must contain 4 one-square ships, 3 two-square, 2 three-square and 1 four-square ship. You must place all these ten ships. To place a small ship (of length 1) simply tap on the empty square. To place a ship which is longer than 1 square, tap once and then drag your stylus over the field. While you drag the stylus, you select squares. Stop selecting when you achieve the appropriate length for your ship. For example, to place a ship of length 3, tap the square on the field and drag stylus for two more squares to any direction (left, right, up, or down), then stop selecting. A ship of length 3 appears. If your ship can't be placed somewhere or you are trying to place more ships than you can, the ship will NOT appear. To correct wrong input, tap the ship once and it will disappear, so you may place it somewhere else. When you finish placing all ships, tap the "Done" button. Where do I change game settings? Each of our games has a menu. To access menu, run the game, then tap the "Menu" button on your Graffiti area (the virtual button located near the "Home" button). Then choose "Preferences" from the menu that appears, and ajust game options. Sometimes after I install a new version of the game, duplicate game icons appear on my Palm screen. What's going on? Sometimes when we release a new version, we change the game name. So "Hot Lines", for example, become simply "Lines". We recommend removing older versions before installing the update. To remove duplicate icons, delete the game from your PDA and then reinstall it again. NOTE: you will lose your High Scores table after reinstall. I've found a bug! Please report it to support@palm-games.com. Provide detailed problem description and include as much info about the problem as you can. Do not forget to mention your device model and vendor. It is also recommended that you attach the game PRC file to your e-mail, so we can work with the file that actually causes problems.
